Question of the Day

If you never comment on my blog, today is the day!

My hubby and I are in a bit of a debate. And it's so important that I thought I'd ask my bloggy friends:

???? What age, in your opinion, is Over The Hill ????

Yes, I do digital scrapbooking and love it with a passion! I use Photoshop Elements 5.0 (Jenni H has 6.0 and now there is a 7.0... I am thinking about getting 7.0 just to keep up... but I love my 5.0). It is a great program and WAY cheaper than real Photoshop... really it has become it's own type of program, different that Photoshop itself. I love it. There is a learning curve as they say, but it is sooo fun! There are tons of tips and tutorials on line to get you started. AND TONS of freebies to play with... tons! On my blog I have a list of my fav digital scrap stores.
Let me know when you want to take the plunge and I will teach it to you. Jenni is resisting but I am working on her *smile*
I can't say that you SAVE tons of money as paper and ink aren't cheap, but space wise it is awesome, accessible, easy to make things look just how you want, color match, journal, etc. You can do things on a computer you just can't do on paper. PLUS, you can still use your digital stuff with your paper stuff! There is a label on the side of my blog of "digital pages" you can look at sometime when you have time to browse. It will give you an idea of what you can do. I print a lot of my own pages at home on my printer as 8x8 or into snapfish photo books.
Hope that wasn't too much info at once. Like I said let me know when you want to jump in!

Well....I'm considered "there" by most of your responders! I think it's all about your attitude. Yes, the hair is a grayin'--they've got paint for that--and the bones are a achin'--there's pills for that, and the creases on my face just tell you that I've been livin' life....I can assure you that I am not over the hill--just headin' that direction. I'll get there someday. Hope I never realize it, tho. If I have to put a number to it, I'd like to say 80+. LYLAS. WPL and that's not Waverly Light and Power....

It's all about perspective, and attitude. Maybe people older than you who don't have any zest for life and won't try new and fun things and take themselves too seriously are over the hill. That would be a "fogy", as in "old fogy".
I won't sign my name because you all think I am way over the hill. ha, ha! Melanie; bless you! See you on the slopes.

Ok I had to comment...it used to be 40. But now that I just turned 50, I think it's 60! I don't feel over the hill at all and plan to keep it that way for a long time. Connie
