Something New and Someone Growing

It occurred to me today that I haven't posted anything since the 6th!!! Where have I been?!

I want to thank you for the coupon ideas. I think that page is about finished because of you! :) Did I tell you guys that I'm starting a site? Well, that's what I'm doing. And I'm going to set it all up, and make you review it before it's ready for outsiders. Aren't you special? Oh, what's it about? You really want to know? Okay, I'll tell you. It is a website for married couples. Romance, intimacy, and everything else. No nudity, no pornography. A tasteful, wholesome site that people aren't going to feel bad about going to. Does such a thing even exist??? I know what you're thinking.....a little too brave, aren't I. Yes, I am! IJustLoveYou.com It's still on Microsoft Frontpage, so you won't get anything when you go there, so really...don't bother yet. :)

This is something I know I've been called to do, and I am absolutely excited! If you know anything about my past, it would be better understood why I feel so strongly about this. We're running into a lot of questionable items, or questionable packaging on some of the nice items, though. What do you do about that? Anyway, if you have any suggestions or comments, please let me know - I'm completely open to any ideas!!!!!! Or if you see me sometime, just come tell me. People are a little uncomfortable talking about things like that, though. I won't be offended if you don't. :)

On the other side, my baby is 5 months old tomorrow. She has just figured out how to throw things. "If I swing my arm and let go, it will fly and make a noise." Or maybe it's just fun to grip, swing, and let go? She's chewing on anything she can reach, and drooling like crazy. Those teeth are coming - I just know it! She's eating cereal and baby food every other day and doing a great job when I can keep up with her. She loves sleeping on her belly. So when I put her down to sleep, she'll roll over and then not be able to fall asleep. What have I done?? :) She ends up on her side sucking her thumb most of the time. And I printed off quite a bit of information on making our own babyfood, so I'm hoping to start that next week. Does/Did anyone else here do that??? I might need lots of help!

Okay, short blog, but that's all for tonight. I promise I'll try to do better about keeping up on it! Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is on tonight. I've never seen it, and Harry had a calf when he heard that, so here I am watching it. It's a good movie.....good flick.

Go for it!!!! Married couples need to not feel bad about their intimacy. Good luck, or rather God bless, your new endeavor.

I made a lot of my own baby food. I would buy can veggies and fruit, drain off some, but not all the liquid and blend in the blender till smooth. Then, I would pour it into ice cube trays and freeze. Store in ziploc baggies marked with what it is. One cube was good to start then two etc. As they got older would take a can of chicken noodle soup and blend it up add a little rice cereal and/or some carrots. They really liked that. Eventually we worked up to just mashing normal food with a fork. I really liked making my own baby food. I knew exactly what they were eating.

The website sounds great, Amie. It's great to see people follow through with something about which they are passionate.

Can't believe she's 5 months!! I remember visiting you in the hospital!
